Visit data

I keep a limited amount of information about visits so I can improve the content of this site. This notice is provided under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The data controller is Zafer Yılmaz.

What is recorded?

  • The page you open, the time of the visit and how long you stay on the page
  • The site you came from (for example Google or Instagram)
  • Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • Your IP address with the last part hidden (for example 88.241.12.x) and the city and country estimated from it

Your full IP address is not stored. This visit count uses no cookies and builds no profile; the data stays on the site's own server. A language preference cookie (zy_dil) is used: it remembers whether you chose Turkish or English, or that you were shown the English site because you visited from outside Türkiye, and it is kept for one year. Information is not shared with third parties and is not transferred abroad; location is looked up in a database on the site's own server.

Google Ads cookies

I use Google Ads conversion measurement to see whether the ads I run on Google work. When you click a WhatsApp, phone or e-mail link on this site, Google is told that "a conversion happened"; who you are is not passed to me.

  • A cookie is set only if you choose Accept in the bar at the bottom of the site. If you decline or make no choice, Google sets no cookie and only cookieless, aggregated signals that cannot be tied to you are sent.
  • Accepted cookies (for example _gcl_au) are kept for at most 90 days and are processed by Google LLC (USA), which counts as a transfer of data abroad.

Website quote form

If you fill in the quote form, I receive your name, the email address and/or phone number you enter, your choices (type of website, budget) and your note, if any. They are used only to answer your request and prepare a quote, on the basis that this is needed before a possible contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c). The request reaches me by email and is also stored on the site's own server; it is not shared with third parties. Requests are deleted automatically after 2 years at the latest, or earlier if you ask. To stop spam, a short scrambled summary of your IP address (not the address itself) is kept for one hour.

Why, and for how long?

The information is processed only to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from, on the basis of legitimate interest. The masked IP address is deleted after 30 days; anonymous counts are kept for up to 13 months.
