Print Design: From Logo to Packaging, Ready for the Press
Everything about a brand you can hold in your hand: the logo, the business card, the label on the product, the menu on the table, the catalog handed out at a trade show. I design these things and stay with you until they go to print. I've worked in Istanbul since 2016, first at advertising agencies and as a freelancer since 2022: more than 120 projects for more than 60 brands.

DetailsWhat I do
Logo and brand identity
A logo isn't just a picture. It's a system that has to work the same way on a business card, a shop sign, an Instagram profile and the corner of a box. So I start every logo project with a few questions: Who will use the brand, where will it appear, and who are the competitors? (I've written up the full list in The first questions I ask when a logo job comes in.)

Packaging and label design
A label has three seconds on the shelf to explain itself. That's why I always print packaging designs at actual size and test them on the real product. Plenty of labels that look great on screen disappear on the shelf. (The shelf test in label design)

Catalogs, brochures and menus
Product catalogs, trade show brochures, price lists, café and restaurant menus. On multi-page jobs, the part that takes the longest is pulling the content together, so we gather your photos and copy and plan the layout together. Example: Brochure.

How we work together
- A short chat. On WhatsApp or by phone, I listen to what you need and ask a question or two. Free of charge.
- Quote. Scope, delivery time and price on a single page. No surprises.
- Drafts. Usually 2–3 directions for a logo, and an actual-size proof for packaging.
- Revisions. The number of revision rounds stated in the quote; 2 rounds are enough for most jobs.
- Print files and print management. I prepare the files in the format your printer asks for, and if you like, I can organize the printing with the print shops I work with. The checklist I go through before sending anything: Final checks before sending files to the printer.
Why me instead of an agency?
- You talk directly to the designer. No account manager in between; you're writing to the person who actually makes the decisions.
- Agency experience at freelance rates. During my agency years I worked for big brands. Now I give small and mid-sized businesses the same care without the agency price tag.
- I know print. I don't leave the design on screen. I translate between you and the printer when it comes to paper, cutting, color and print jargon.
- I think about the web too. When I design your logo, I keep your website and social media in mind. (Web Design, Digital Design)
Frequently asked questions
How long does logo design take?
If the brief is clear, the first drafts are usually ready within 5–7 business days. Including revisions, plan for 2–3 weeks.
How is the price of a logo decided?
By scope: just a logo, or a brand identity package (business card, letterhead, social media set), and how many alternatives you want. After a short chat I give you a firm price.
Do you handle the printing?
Yes, if you'd like. I get quotes from the print shops I work with in Istanbul and follow the job through. Or I can simply hand over the print-ready files.
Can you refresh my existing logo?
Yes. Often, rather than starting from scratch, it makes more sense to simplify the existing logo and make it consistent across everything you use. We decide together during our chat.
Which files do you deliver?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG), PNG/JPG for the web, color codes and the fonts used. The files are yours; you won't be dependent on me.
Can I work with you from outside Istanbul?
Yes. All the work runs remotely, and for printing I can talk to a print shop in your city.
Are business cards still necessary?
I think so, but not in the way they used to be. I wrote about it here: Do business cards still work?
